We too have had the letter from Marley saying "It's down to Natural weathering" and our enquiry is "Closed". We have the Marquess roof tile, which do you have? Our roof is only just 8 years old and looks like a chess board! It's been flaking for about 2 years, but in recent months its really gathered speed and in places its totally exposed concrete. I am going to try and get hold of the British and European Standard EN BS 490, however its extremley expensive to buy costing £130.00!! My husband know's a roofing contractor, who may have a copy that I can photocopy. I will let you know if I have any luck with that. This morning I call consumer Direct, which advised me to call C.A.B and that speaking with a solicitor/House surveyor would be advisable.
