Cheers for the response. I did start off scraping it with little success but I think my scraper might be past it's best. Found another in the toolbox which did a much better job at chipping off the paint without damaging the paper beneath. I need a slightly more flexible (and sharp!) one so...

Hello The paint on the coving in my bathroom is peeling pretty badly. I've been trying to sand the paint off so I can start from fresh but it's been hard work. On reading other forum posts, I think I might have damaged the paper covering (I think it's paper covered plaster covering)...
