    My so called 'professional' Cornish builder has used the wrong size DPCs on my wall therefore there is not any overlap for me to attach my membrane to. He has used a 100mm DPC on my front wall ..nothing spare to attach to the Visqueen. Also the wider internal walls have the same problem. See...

    Pics of how my 'professional' Cornish builder has used DPCs which are too narrow!! How am I supposed to be able to tape my damp proof membrane to this? These are walls sitting on a slab which sits in the earth. The man has a lot to answer for.....oh the house is 250mm too low in the ground...

    Raising existing timber floor by 200mm

    I need to raise an existing timber floor by approx 200mm. I'd like to keep the extra load on the existing floor to a minimum. Has anyone ever tried laying T & G flooring directly onto Jabfloor or any other EPS product ( bearing in mind I'd need to lay slabs of EPS that are about 180mm thick)...
