I'm needing to shave off about 2mm off the side of a kitchen countertop to allow enough space for a new freestanding 50cm wide electric cooker.
The end caps are metal, screw-in ones which are easily removed and put back on. The 2mm only needs to be removed from around mid way and onto the back...
Yeah, he didn't have time to lift carpets up tonight as it was a late call out. He had a look everywhere I did and was puzzled as well.
Does this look like a pump?
I called a plumber out today as it appears to be an issue with the pump. However, he had trouble locating the pump. He reckoned it was under the floor boards on the landing. So I had a look and found this. Is this a pump?
It has three wires going into it and it sits on a piece of wood which...
I have 2 pipes at the top right and 2 on the bottom. I'm still yet to locate the pump though.
The pipes go out into a corner of the kitchen and then up a boarded column.
Hre is a photo of th front of the boiler.
Your right, ill get that sorted. However, from what you guys are saying it may not be the boiler and I would like to try to do any work myself if possible before calling an engineer out.
I've been trying to locate the pump and valve. Took the following photos of where the tank is. I don't see...
If I understand you correctly, no the boiler isn't firing when I switch n the heating, but it does when I do the hot water. As far as I'm aware, I don't have a thermostat. We just switch on the heating and hotwatter via the Honeywell controller.
Is the valve something located on the pump or...
So, if we think it ate pump, I now need to try to find the pump. Some of the diagrams in the boiler manual are starting to make sense. Here are some images of the inside of the boiler. It looks like the pump is fiitted somewhere outside the boiler. It doesn't appear to be near the boiler, so...
I taught it might be a pump. Where might this pump be located? Is this something more suited for a gas/heating expert or a plumber?
My boiler is located on the bottom floor. My ht water tank is located on the first floor.
I'm experiencing a problem with my radiators. I've tried bleeding them and no air is in them and only cold water is coming through.
I can confirm that my boiler is working because my hot water works. I've checked the boiler and the pilot appears to be lit.
However, when switch the heating...
I purchased this set around 6 years ago and it appears to still be for sale!

Hi,
I have a 70s built house and the bathroom has 2 problems with the electrics which I would like to fix.
1. 3 recessed spot lights (not hologens) are in the ceiling. However, only the center one is reliable to work all the time. The other 2 sometimes work. If you wiggle or rotate the...
