    latex/acrylic screed over damp concrete floor

    my concrete floor in kitchen/dining room was laid some time ago without a DPM and is also quite uneven. What is the best solution in terms of sealing the floor and adding a latex etc screed over the top to level off? Or would you suggest taking up the whole floor and replacing? Many thanks

    insulating timber floor

    I need to insulate my timber suspended GF and am not sure exactly what to use. I've seen different ideas: 1. Foam insulation supported by a mesh fixed to the joists. 2. Rigid board (i.e. celotex) wedged between the joists. Any assistance much appreciated.
