Yes, that's just what I want. My problem is that AFAICT when I ask for CH (on the 2 channel programmer) the boiler doesn't respond - so it seems we can only get heating if we're also explicitly asking for HW. I'm not sure if that means the programmer (or boiler) has been configured incorrectly...
