Long story short - had a premium brand oil boiler with odd lockouts and as it had not had a service for a while thought I would invest in a service. This was done but lockouts continued so called the company - no way they would return without upfront card details as the service had been done...

New WB Greenstart Danesmoor 18/25, working well but there is a definite oil aroma in the utility room. No weeps or seeps on the oil or pump and the flue is pluming nicely with no oil smell whatever or smoke outside. Is the oily smell to be expected, or abnormal please? Thanks

I've seen both in manufacturers literature, is there any real preferred orientation of the vessel ie bottom or top liquid entry (Oil boiler, fully pumped, S-plan)? Thanks all

First post on here so please be gentle....... What is the general UK thoughts on use of Tigerloop deaeration devices mounted inside the building? Manufactureres web sites shows these mounted near to the boiler but some UK adverts state 'external use only'. Is the plastic the issue, or the...
