    Slow heating immersion tank

I have a immersion tank with a header tank, the element goes in through the side at the bottom. When it comes on it takes twice as long to heat up. I have checked the voltage and it has 240v going in. Any ideas anyone?

    Creda Cooker Problem

I have Creda Aspire Solarplus electric cooker. Two of the four rings on the ceramic hob, are either full on or off, I can not put it on simmer it stays on full. It sounds like thermostat trouble to me. Has anyone had this problem before, and is it an expensive job. Many thanks
