The T isn't a hinge just the T part attached to the door with a bit (small tube) that sticks out with a hole through it to slot over the hook which would be attached to the supporting frame.

During refurb a thick layer of blackjack type bichumin was painted onto concrete floor as a damp proof barrier. It never took properly and some areas peeled away quickly. I want to remove the stuff (advice of professional flooring chap) and lay vinyl. I can scrape it but this is verytime...
