Hi LJ, I asked you about zinc roofing costs /m a few years ago. Our requirements have changed a little and I am in the process of getting a plan started, and then drawn up by an architect. We would look to build next year. We now wish to have a wrap around single storey extension of 6 x 3 m to the rear and 14 x 4 m to the side of the house. What are the current costs a m2 for zinc and the anthracite zinc please. Does the cost also include the timber work for the roof? Also do you have a website at all? Thanks in advance. Richard.

Hi, thanks for getting in contact. Yes I own a specialist roofing company and we cater for hard metals only. It's difficult to give an accurate quote without seeing plans/drawings but a realistic figure for a zinc roof would be £100 per square metre but nearly double that for copper. Gutters and down popes are also available in the chosen material.
