Rocks1...... Thank you very much for the info - the top needed a hefty push to slide it back. I then removed the panel and re-aligned the switches.
All the plastic bits used here seem very flimsy compared with the way machines were built hitherto.
It all works fine now - you have saved...
My grandson poked in the start/stop button on the far right and it won't come out - consequently the m/c will not work.
How do I remove the top of the m/c to get behind the buttons, there are 2 screws at the back which I removed but I am afraid of pushing in the wrong direction
