Although nowt is guaranteed, over the longer term, you can't really go wrong with a good S&S ISA organised and managed through a reputable company (i.e. not organised through some geezer on social media). You don't have to build your own, they have multiple pre built options to choose from...

Moral of the story, always ask tradespeople what/if they're going to charge when 'popping out to have a look'.

I think folk who are really into their music say vinyl gives a more rounded sound (if played on decent equipment), as to how true that is I couldn't say.
