    Rwanda deterrent continues.

Yep. To use a trades/diy analogy, it would be like a pipe leaking quite badly whilst two or three tradespeople stand there debating how to fix it. I'm committed to fixing this leak. As am I. Yes, I'm also committed. It's important we fix this leak for the homeowner. Yes I agree. I also agree...

Door to door - Charity chuggers

All door to door activity of this type should be illegal, along with door to door salespeople. Why? Because some people find it difficult maybe very difficult to say 'no thanks' when asked directly to support and/or buy something. Leaflets through the door? Fine. That leaves the individual...

Look at this case and explain something to me ...

... how on earth can the 12 year ban be enforced? If he goes out and buys another dog tomorrow, who's actually going to know in terms of the authorities? Even more so if he waits and buys one a few years down the line when everyone's forgotten about the whole thing. Don't give him a...

    Manslaughter... or not

In my opinion, the guy in that case comes across as being a complete t w a t. Didn't realise it was a requirement to have a brake?!? And surely you have to factor in that pedestrians might be hard of hearing, wearing earbuds listening to music, or might not hear you because of surrounding noise.

    Manslaughter... or not

It's a tricky one in some cases. Say you have a couple of younger kids or grandkids and you want to go cycling with them. However you don't own a car (to go elsewhere to cycle) and the roads in your immediate locality are all busy. In that scenario you could understand people wanting to cycle...

How do you know if delaying someone's journey is only causing them 'a little' inconvenience? Numerous scenarios where delays can be a major inconvenience. How long would you say a group should be able to block a road for? 3 hours? 6 hours? 9 hours? A day? A week? Indefinitely? Let 'em...
