Thanks for that write up, i have already left the ryobi off the list, im looking for a 2nd hand dewalt dw707 to keep me going till i get more work for one that will be used regularly.
screwfix are doing the metabo one for £200 and back in stock on the 9th.
dewalt looks good but its bare.
i just wanted to see everyones suggestions and opinions on the saws above.
240v only for now.

i hear many things against the dewalt 707, plus its bare, no dust bag or arm extensions etc etc.
the metabo 255 plus has all the extras included, the budget cannot go much further due to some other stuff on order to fill...
Hi all 1st post here, fell like ive hit a wall in my search for a new mitre saw so need some advise on here.
Ive been looking at the -
dewalt dw707 from screfix for £250
metabo kgs225 £290 blows the budget
and the ryobi ems2431scl £240.
no ive heard the dewalt isnt all that good...
