Hi all Currently have just one 10 watt LED floodlight mounted on side wall which is switched by a standalone PIR mounted about 3.5-4 mtrs towards the house front. Cable is 1.0mm from 6amp lighting circuit breaker then through a 5amp switched fused spur,out through wall approx 2mtr to a ip65...

Yep thanks both,stood around the corner of the house out of sight,still stopped on also tried the switch flick off then back on after 20 seconds still stopped on for around 5 mins then heard the PIR click off.Went around garden in the dark and all seems ok.Thanks again to all who take the time...

Taken back and another fitted,must have some warm up period as when switched on it stopped on for quite a while before switching off again.Tested at night and seems ok.

Thanks guys No idea on ball valve unless I ask neighbour and he probably won't know,I've tried shutting the valve and only opened it about 1 turn seems to have helped our taps doing it as much,but still happens when his are opened/closed. Is it worth contacting Yorkshire water to fix the issue...
