Aha....so I need one called a 'Double Pole' pullcord switch. Thank you :-) Will (should!) be much easier replacing like for like :-) How easy to find an exact replacement though? Looking on Amazon, I can find lots of items along the lines of 'Double Pole Pull Switch with Neon Indicator' -...

In fact has now broken in 'both' the family bathroom and my en suite, so need to fix both....lol... They have snapped right at the top, so no chance of tieing up. I believe I need to replace the whole rose - I know they're not expensive. But.....am a little confused by the wiring. I 'could'...
