In fact has now broken in 'both' the family bathroom and my en suite, so need to fix both....lol...
They have snapped right at the top, so no chance of tieing up. I believe I need to replace the whole rose - I know they're not expensive.
But.....am a little confused by the wiring. I 'could' get an electrician, but don't want to if it is actual an easy fix.
There are plenty of demonstrations on YouTube etc on how to replace the rose, but they all show just one L, one N and one E wire.
My current rose has yellow/green, 2 black and 2 red.
In the old rose: yellow/green go to the E terminal
one black goes to 'N Load'
other black goes to 'N IN'
one red goes to 'L Load'
other red goes to 'L IN'
In a new rose I have, there are only the following terminals:
E
L1
L2
COM
Perhaps it is the wrong rose altogether.
In which case what is the name of the one I need?
Or........is it not as easy as I think it might be, and I 'should' get an electrician anyway?
Have attached pictures of the existing wired rose and the new empty rose.
Advice greatly appreciated,
Cheers,
Don
