Hello everyone, thank you all once again for your input/advice.
Managed to finally get the towel rail sorted, and thought id let you all know.
Got a new element with a temperature control range. Works exactly as i need it to. Its now safe to touch
That was my thinking. It claims to be made for what im looking for and seems like it will do it. Gonna order soon and fit then will let you know.
Thank you all for advice and opinions
Thank you for your post.
Unfotunately the towel rail doesnt have a thermostat but i am aiming to replace the element with another which has a thermostat included ((https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B0154XGEEI/ref=ox_sc_saved_image_1?smid=A1WQZCA5DYXDT6&psc=1) any advice on this would be...
The rubber reducers i put a link up for above. There is a 70mm down to 60mm. Then you can put the 70mm over the 68 and the 60mm end into the 63 and seal.
If im correctly understanding the orientation of the pipes then it shouldnt leak.
Not ideal, but maybe something like this as a last resort if you cant find an actual adaptor.

Rarely used them in the past but is becoming more common practice (at least with the company i work for) to use them on most interlocking tiles. We use eave, verge and tile clips.
Another option could be to put firlings in to raise the pitch then put original roof back on with new felt and batten if necesary.
Noticed you said about brickwork after raising. Use facia to cover after raising roof.
I think i will fit a new element ( cant do any harm and i doubt its ever been changed) and also a controller for added adjustment. This way i can use it "safely" in my situation and not worry about the boy or the dog.
Will do it at the end of the month and let you know how i get on, hopefully...
I want it to be on so i can use it for its intended purpose but i have a dog and toddler at home. I dont want either of them to burn themselves with it. So i want to be able to lower the temperature so it atleast wont burn them if they were to get to it.
Thanks for both your help, aiming to sort it out at the end of the month. Will update you on how it goes.
If you need any roofing info feel free to ask
Take care
Thank you for your reply.
Would you recommend any?
Are they universal or do i need to get one specific to my towel rail?
I assume then that it is filled through the bottom where the element goes in?
Do you know what the screw on the top does?
Sorry for all the questions, just want to be sure...
