thanks all, for the replies
the 150mm just seems a bit too big/heavy
Im still waiting on Bosch testing/finding one that works.
Theyve been doing that for 2 weeks, so it does not bode well.
Greetings
I've been having problems with this sander.
New-- out of the box, the sanding pad brake works fine-- switch on, pad doesnt rotate until in contact with the work.
After about 10 mins use-- the sanding brake no longer works. Power on, and it spins/rotates like a banshee...
thanks all, for the very helpful replies
in "man" position, the DHW flow is now sufficient that the boiler is not kicking in/out [DHW going hot/ cold] but the CH pipe is still getting hot.
is this more of a clue?
I'll take the cover off tomorrow and have a look.
Thanks again
thanks for the info.
I re-searched here, [omitting diverter] and found lots more info on valves.
I've managed to push the diverter switch to manual, [am I right in thinking thats DHW only on a combi?] and that seems to have solved it.
does this mean its the head?
my honeywell has a...
Greetings.
Both CH and DHW work on the Radiant RSF24 combi
However, on DHW only-- with CH off, the CH pipes are getting hot and DHW flow seems a bit low.
After checking the forums here, my best guess is the diverter valve is not working [jammed in mid position?].
I've tried moving...
thanks all, for the replies.
sorry for my slow response-- been shoveling snow...
the hammer is just one loud thump. I've had my hand/ear on the stop cocks when it hammers and it doesnt seem/feel to be coming from there. seems to be from under the bathroom floor.
can you replace the...
thanks for the reply
its not that tight-- the photo is a bit misleading
does that drain fitting have 1/2" bsp threads? can I just unscrew the stop end and put the arrestor in there?
thanks much
Happy New Year!
Ive searched here for info on pipe hammer
it seems most likely caused by [very inaccessible] pipes not being properly secured
I'd like to try fitting an arrestor. [the hammer stops if any tap is v. slightly open]
the plumbing has 2 drain valves [and stopcocks], above...
did a search, but couldnt find anything
they are sold as "makita" in a different colour.
they are on clearance now, pretty cheap
anyone tried these out?
thanks
thanks again
the black wire does indeed come from the valve, but it is [more than] long enough to reach the old [white] junction box. the new [grey] junction box was added recently.
perhaps the [new] plumber thought about rewiring it correctly [when he was changing the programmer], and...
thanks very much for the reply/help
the wire/cable in question has just one [red] wire in it. the other end is connected to the 1 terminal on the programmer
[the programmer is right next to the junction/spaghetti box so its easy to see all this].
so, if I understand this correctly, the...
