or different again if i make the whole front wall 4 inches higher than the main back wall and then the back wall of the shallow bit 2 inches lower that should give me a flat roof all the way across right?

Thanks for your comments - the exact dimensons arent correct, and on the finished building the floor space will be under 30m2 so thats that box ticked. I had planned 3 x 2, but will take advice, out of interest whats the reason? For the roof i had planned a small gradient, and then covered...

    Mystery spur..any ideas?

Only going by experience. In new builds an alarm is usually an optional extra. So they put the “spur” there in case it’s purchased...... I’ve lived in 2 new builds that both have had it. My latest one didn’t have an alarm installed and is still labled!

    Mystery spur..any ideas?

Only going by a house I lived in a few years back. That was labelled security alarm (with a switched spur!), was on its own circuit but the outdoor security light was also connected to it. (Maybe the same here??)

    Mystery spur..any ideas?

Assuming it’s a new build house? It’s for a security alarm. (There’s nothing connected to it at the moment). There should also be a breaker in the consumer unit that says security alarm or similar !
