    Hi, You would be better off going to a proper tile shop/supplier and asking them what they recomend for this type of job.The adhesive you need will def be more expensive as it will need to be a flexi one and i would use flexi grout as well,so yes it is worth it,i would use bal or mapei adhesive...

    how long before tiling?

    Hi, i always use a sds drill with a chisel bit to remove adhesive and wait 4 weeks before i tile on new plaster :mrgreen:
