    I'm almost too embarrased to ask this question :oops: but here goes... When fitting shelving brackets for instance,8x10,long side to wall,shelf sits on the short side. I've bought these brackets from screwfix to fit a worktop in my garage...

    Garage storage and heating.

    Now's the time to tart up my garage a bit :oops: A jumble at the moment,but I was thinking,looking into shelving/storage etc seems to be quite expensive for purpose built. Would it be wrong to,for instance,if I can get them,using recycled kitchen units/worktops? Like most garages mines...

    You can buy stacking kits. Have a look on ebay,Home and garden> major appliances>stacking. Seem to be universal.

    Ceiling problems

    Which electric tile cutter???

    I take it the cutters mentioned come with a blade to start with,but how many tiles would a blade cut before needing replacement? I realise this smacks of how long is a piece of string,but just an average will do(floor tiles)

    Skirting boards

    If you have the opportunity,would you always remove skirting boards prior to tiling? I believe it makes for a smarter look,just wondering about any views on this,thanks
