Our bathroom has had a tile floor layed, this has raised the level of both the wc and basin by 1cm. Is there any easy way of extending the taps and the cistern valve to meet the original pipework without cutting the pipes. Thanks

It was one of eight small bulbs of the celing light itself.

Sorry I seem to be confusing things. I have connected the light unit as before and inserted one of eight bulbs into the light. It worked once only. Switching the light off and back blew the fuse.

Ok I reconnected everything and removed the bulbs. Switched on and off removed and tested fuse. The fuse was still working. Put one of the eight bulbs in, replaced the fuse. Switched on great its working. Switched off and back on now no light checked fuse the fuse has now blown. So the...
