When did it become okay to screw into the downpipe between each join.
I though the weight of the downpipe was carried by the clips and not screwed to each other thus hanging of the guttering.
I'm wanting to insulate and use low energy products for my new extension.

Just had the drawings back from the architect and they have specified 100mm of Kingspan K7 between the rafters and 53mm of K18 below the rafters. Rafters are 150mm deep.

Thinking about having a extension built.
Do I need to have the walls plastered, Was just thinking of PVA on them then tiles over that where the wall shows.
Would this be okay in a kitchen.
