    Thanks - we have considered a rayburn/aga but have been told that because the kitchen is at the far end and like yourselves, its a bungalow, and the bedrooms are at the other end - it wouldn't heat the rooms effectively; any thoughts on oil central heating?

    Hi, Have been told that the torching on our roof has gone and will need slates taken off - felt laid and the slates put back on again; someone has mentioned the possibility of using an expanding foam (said it was a bit like honeycomb?) instead as its cheaper - any advice? :roll:

    Hi, Have been told that the floor in three rooms needs to come up and have concrete membrane put in, have been quoted quite high for floor to come up - is there any reason I can't do this myself - have time and energy but no money!! if so.. what have I got to do? :?
