Sorry, can't see a lever on the side pointing to w m or h But, when I turned the heating on, the motorised valve did move slightly in one direction. Then, having watched the motorised bit turning, with just the heating on, the flat part of the valve stem is almost in the horizontal position...

I've taken the box off it's base plate and can now turn the valve manually. When in ether position the pump still runs. Is this correct?

Does it have wiring to it and a laver that can be set at 'Normal Use' and 'Flushing Only' ? Pump looks as though it's on upside down and the box I'm trying to describe is below it.

Would the motorised Valve be a Sunvic (sorry not sure what I'm looking for)
