Yes i am agree with foxhole. Really it is a big task to get back your floor.

Even we had got the same problem when we moved to our new home. The building contractor did not fix the tiles in bathroom properly and it was loose. Again we asked him to fix it. I don't remember what exactly that fixing guy used but it is good for tiles. 4 years already completed but no problem

Even I had done like that. Means I left the hole first to avoid any kind of damage to mirror.
