It is house door key - but I managed to find a patient key cutter who straightened the key and cut a new one - an 8yr old did this and the guy said that he'd never seen a key that badly bent as well as snapped! I am reliably informed now that it is a Europe (?) lock and very easy to change...

Hi, I have snapped the key to a door. I've managed to get the rest of the key out of the lock but it's a bit twisted and I don't have a spare! I have had a quote from a locksmith who said they couldn't cut a new key from the old one but can replace the lock for a couple of hundred :shock: lol...
