    Yeah there is loft. The old fan is in zone 1. So will the new fan. So I can just use the existing wite from the wall fan to the new one?

    I have a fan in the wall above the bath.but it doesn't suck enough out to keep the room clear of condensation. I want to put a fan above the shower. Can I fit it. Disconnect the wire to the fan in the wall and use that to the fan above the shower???

    Hi... Ok I know how to not electrocute myself. I want to install a shower extractor fan. And wire it in to the light to it works when the light comes on. Is it hopefully as simple as installing and the just wiring it in to the light???? Or do I need some help? Thanks

    Excellent. Cheers for the reply. With the oil is it just use it and done. I want a good finish as it's going to be in a child's room. So need it hard wearing. Do I use a varnish protector on it after....or just oil

    Ok so I have ripped up the laminate in my bedroom. Found I have real wood flooring. I'm going to sand it all.......what next......Paint it...varnish....oil.....i don't know what wood it is but it will be a light colour when all sanded.Whats the best way to go to get a nice not to dark...

    30 amp is now randomly tripping? ??

    It's the rcd then as it has a test/reset button on it. It's strange as never had a problem .no work done anywhere. Just now tripping.cant see any problems with sockets. Upstairs or in kitchen

    Ok so as from this morning my 30 amp fuse on the main box has started tripping Never done it before . It does the kitchen sockets and upstairs sockets. So I have unplugged everything up and in the kitchen. Reset. Pop it goes......why?. Is there a way to fault find for a novice at electrics...
