We’ve managed to pull the sink forward more with the help of a carpenter and some changes to the cabinetry. Not perfect, but much better (I hope/ think).

I like that idea. Any chance you know I reasonably priced supplier? The cabinets are actually being painted dark green (they’re just primed) but a dark green marble could look really greats just conscious of cost. The sink wasn’t cheap and now we can’t return it
Agreed. There is a quartz lip to catch water, but it should only be 1cm deep, and is currently 3cm. We basically need a sink that’s around 3-4cm longer, but they don’t seem to exist.
Unfortunately the worktop was inherited with the house, so I’m not sure we can get enough of a match. Annoyingly we didn’t replace the whole kitchen as we thought we’d save money by just replacing appliances and cabinet fronts. In hindsight not the best decision
