    Help replacing heating thermostat please

I have an old analogue thermostat that I want to replace with a digital programmable one. The old analogue one has three wires into it whereas the new one I've purchased only talks about connecting two wires, can this be done? I've added a few images which hopefully will help. The first is the...

is it safe to insulate underneath the dishwasher?

Our built-in dishwasher is beside the sink unit in the kitchen and there is a fair breeze from under the dishwasher sometimes. Lean to roof between two sheds

Newbie here so please be kind! :) I plan to build a lean to roof to create a sheltered area between two existing sheds that I have. The roof frame will be approx. 7' x 7' and just covered with some clear pvc sheeting. I plan to attach the roof to a 7' bit of 1x4 that's bolted to the relevant...

    Base under shed walls

Hi all.....I've got my hands on an 8' x 6' shed due to my dad getting a new one however he is keeping the base as he needs it for his new one. I'm going to put the shed in my backyard and use it mainly to keep the motorbike in so I'm not too worried about having a full base, the current surface...

    loft flooring

would like some help with knowing what timber to buy as counter batons for my roofspace. I have an area of 8ft x 16ft where I would like to put down the tongue and groove 8x2 chipboard, mostly for storage but i'm tempted to have an area where I can sit at a desk with a pc on it and have read in...

    Insulate new loft door

My roofspace access hatch used to just have a sheet of wood in it but I've since installed a trapdoor and loft ladder kit. I think I read or heard somewhere that I'm now required by law to insulate this trapdoor and if this is the case, does anyone know what material should/can be used?
