THE LEVER IS IN THE LEFT POSITION AND THE LEVER ON THE SIDE REGISTERS B AND ITS STAYED IN PLACE!!!!!!!!
I noticed THAT THE BAR pressure HAS INCREASED FROM 1.5 TO 2.5 WHILST I HAVE BEEN MESSING WILL KEEP MY EYE ON IT.

have noticed on the RHS of the unit there is a very small lever and it is in the A position as the lever moves across the top of the unit the lever on the side moves from A to B
If I were to tie the lever on the top in one place would it be to the left or the right.
I can fix it with elastic...
I have just posted a picture for you and it is the black lever at the top that slowly moves from right to left.
When it gets to the left it springs back with a big noise
I think its marvelous that you are helping..it shows there are some good samaritans out there...at least one

The system is 5 y.o. this is the hot water part I think. the boiler is downstairs.
