Thanks for replies, The pump was defo faulty as it was tripping the rcd. The noise is constant and no we don't have plastic pipes, The flue just goes through a standard brick and breeze block cavity filled wall. What is kettling?

Hello, We have the above boiler and when it fires up there are loud banging noises heard from the boiler, any ideas would be much appreciated. Its recently had a new pump fitted so wouldn't imagine it was that.
