Vokera Mynute 28se boiler - banging noises

Hello,

We have the above boiler and when it fires up there are loud banging noises heard from the boiler, any ideas would be much appreciated.

Its recently had a new pump fitted so wouldn't imagine it was that.

cud b a number of things the flue could b too long or excessive gas to the burner. the sparker cud b dirty .

Does the noise come and go or is it constant? Do you have plastic pipes?

Ive had a flat expansion vessel make these bang and failing heat exchangers cause kettling.

Perhaps the pump wasn't the fault , but there is a blockage somewhere hindering the circulation?

Thanks for replies,

The pump was defo faulty as it was tripping the rcd.
The noise is constant and no we don't have plastic pipes,
The flue just goes through a standard brick and breeze block cavity filled wall.

What is kettling?
