Has he tried/ checked the expansion vessel?? That’d be the first thing to check...drain, pump up to 1bar, repressurise boiler then bleed all rads. Easy job for a heating engineer

If your running hot water and it’s still doing the noise then it’s nothing to do with trvs. Get your plumber/gas safe engineer out to check Venturi and gas pressures

Get a gas safe engineer to check/clean Venturi. Could also be a possible gas valve issue. Ideal logic gas valves cant be adjusted, it would need to be replaced? Do you get it serviced annually.

Multimeter, ohms setting. Check on gas valve pins/terminals and/or check solenoid
