Thanks for the replies. Something like this? I take it as long as the earth is connected to connector and fixed to the light fitting metal plate it should be fine?

Hi everyone, I'm looking for advice on how to best overcome an earthing issue I have with a light fitting. I've broken the earth connector which was part of the light fitting as supplied. What can I use as an alternative for this and what parts would be required? Thanks
