    OK I'm officially baffled. The taps are turning more than 1/4 turn before the water stops and are way out of alignment as a result. So, tightened the grub screw but that only works for a short while and now the plastic teeth on the [ABCDEF*] have worn down and that [ABCDEF*] just spins around...

    Thanks for the speedy reply! OK, in turn... where did you silicone when refitting the shower frame etc ? Silicon between screen and door/screen to the walls, then sealed both of them inside and outside between screens and tiling. did you seal the tray before fitting the uprights ? Yes...
