Thanks, do you mean just wire directly into the light fitting itself, or use an actual separate connector, if so what type?
Something like this? http://www.screwfix.com/p/wagobox-light-junction-box/8423f
I'd like to replace a pendant light with recessed LEDs, but can't find a decent guide anywhere on the 'net. Can anyone point me to one, or outline the basic steps?
Assuming I want to move the pendant and replace with 4 LEDs, would the following be correct?:
1. Replace pendant ceiling rose with...
The control panel has one of these, which would otherwise run outside down the wall to a socket. I'd like to conceal it and ideally wire it to the circuit internally.
I don't know if it needs to be a spur, I was just trying to give examples.
I have purchased a new DIY alarm system, which has a 240V AC to 12v (500mA) DC plug adapter, that links into the control panel.
I'd like to tidy the wires away into the wall and ideally link it to the circuit as a spur. Is there any well trodden path to do this? I assume I would need to replace...
Thanks. When I wire the parallel circuits, should I use non-flexible wiring (assuming it's in the ceiling)? How do I work out what diameter I need - I see from research there's quite a range of sizes!
I have a single fixed ceiling light in my lounge, with a switch.
I would like to install 3 more, running from the same switch. Can anyone direct me to an example circuit diagram, or tutorial of how to do this?
Thanks
I have a single fixed ceiling light in my bathroom. I'd like to replace it with 4 recessed LED lights.
Does this need a new circuit for the additional 3 lamps, or can I just spur off each one?
The ceiling is over 3m, so if I can do this without a new circuit I understand this would not be...
