Is there a UK equivilent of stateside "EMT" ? It`s pretty much a light duty galv steel conduit. I have a (non electrical related) diy project underway but standard (british) steel conduit is a real beast to work with :wink: Any idea if it exists over here, and if so, where can i obtain...

The other thing to consider is "they" can take everything that isn`t attached to the D-lock ..leaving you with perhaps just a frame shackled to the wall :wink:

I`d guess the 5v will be for logic switching only (ie: logic high/low) so the current capability of the circuit will be very limited. To avoid the possibility of damaging the ps2 you might consider adding an additional (insulated) pressure switch plate to each pad and using an external supply...

Personally i`d go for the compound. It`ll give the option of the bevel cut which could save having to buy another saw at a later date. Top quality kit is nice to have but even a £50 budget compound will be plenty accurate enough for most stuff.
