Due Tec HE 28 intermittent hot water problem

Just taken a look at the sensor - there is a tab/clip which holds the electrical connector in place. The tab appears to have broken off and the connection was therefore loose. Pushed connector on firmly and appears to be ok. I guess I might need a new sensor fitted to renew the clip and secure...

Due Tec HE 28 intermittent hot water problem

A quick search suggests flue sensor error. It's intermittent so guess could be wiring too. Is the sensor an easy change and a likely culprit for this?

Baxi Duo Tec frozen - ideas needed

Ahhh that's interesting - thanks. I was following what I thought was pretty general practice that 1 bar cold was what to aim for but happy to be corrected. My experience suggests this mean that when hot the system will be running at about 3 bar which is into the 'red' on the gauge. (boiler...

Baxi Duo Tec frozen - ideas needed

Yes - I had wondered about that - I can see it being on all night and never warming the garage enough to kick the frost stat off - pipe stat sounds more what I need.

I have a Baxi Duo Tec 33HE, 18 months old and mounted in our garage. Twice in the past week I've woken up to a cold house (!) an error code 119 (low system pressure). On investigation, the system pressure gauge read about 1 bar (as expected) but the I still couldn't reset the system as...
