    Install Tado in multi-zone home

They were saying my set up was too complicated for them. I'm guessing cause with Nest they need to replace my external controller with Nest's heat link. Anyway I managed to install Tado. I just used the parking slots for the yellow and Neutral cables and worked. Thanks

    Install Tado in multi-zone home

Hi, I'm trying to replace our current ESi thermostats with Tado. Our heating is multi-zoned with boiler+external controller+thermostat at zone 1 and hot water cylinder+thermostat upstairs at zone 2. I dont think the cylinder is related to the thermostat upstairs but using it for location...

Check the current amp capacity for replacing oven

I had an electrician check it today and they said we'll have to change the board fuse to a 32A and hardwire the new oven instead of using the plug. However, later on I checked Currys and found the same brand as our current oven, Baumatic, (UK brand which I never considered before as I didn't...

Check the current amp capacity for replacing oven

And I thought it was just me haha Looking for an electrician now. Just wanted to check whether the ovens have plug like you said but most websites don't even mention the amperage/wattage let alone anything about the plug. Actually not even Bosch themselves mention the wattage for their models.

Check the current amp capacity for replacing oven

Guess I'll have to keep searching for someone then. I believe these sockets were all replaced/converted including the switch board at 2009 based on some papers that came with the house but I will call someone just to be safe.

Check the current amp capacity for replacing oven

Thanks for the quick response. That 3680 capacity is a total of all the devices connected to the cooker switch? That would include my gas hob and cooker hood then?

Check the current amp capacity for replacing oven

Hi, I'm trying to order a new electric oven but I have trouble checking the amperage of the switch as the guy in the shop told me I need to do that first before replacing oven. My current oven has a rating of 2620kw which is lower than 13A but the problem is most ovens out there are 16A...
