I have found some holes above my combi boiler (it was installed in the cupboard where the old expansion tanks was. Old pipes from the now empty tank in the loft ran into the space and when removed the holes were not blocked up - they are now as the cupboard gets...
I blocked the one vent hole from the combi exhaust into the roof space - the condensation is still there. Intend putting a seal around the loft hatch but am now running short of ideas.

Found the drain points and turned off the feed to the heating (leaving water supply intact). Drained using garden hose.

I have a VAILLANT VCW GB 242 EH Combi boiler with inverted loop radiators downstairs.
I want to put thermostatic valves on every radiator and move one radiator to a different wall downstairs. I will need to drain the system but as it is closed at around 1.5bar? how do I drain and refill?
