    Back from the Christmas frovilities. Have ordered my capacitor from ebay. I have chosen the 1000uF 16volt version. I have no problems with removing the board and replacing the capacitor being of the electrical sort by trade. Only thing which annoyed me is not noticing the capactor failure...

    I have a hotpoint WT 741 and when switched on all the lights and display start flashing. Eventually it will stop and it can be programmed as normal. Some times it will start flashing during the cycle but continues to complete the cycle ok. I have removed both PCBs and checked for dry joints...
