In terms of break tanks which are the best ones to go for?

Does anyone have any tips to getting Local Water Authority to improve the flow pressure? As part of the renovations we have fitted a pressurised system, if we did have to have another measure what is the best option?

Poor water flow pressure

Hi So we have repalced the pipe from the house to the meter on the pavement with new blue poly. However connected to stop cock with guage and it shows 2 Bar but when you open 1 tap the pressure drops to 0 Bar. Went back to the meter and connected a pipe up to the meter and the flow is rubbish...

Looking to do 200M2 of UFH on top of new Ground floor slab + insulation etc couple of questions: Boiler or Air Source heat pump? Which are good brands/systems of UFH and which are to be avoided??

We put a load of steels in between ground and first floor so loading is no problem. But in essence what is the price difference between Stud and block finished costs?

Sorry this is first floor of house single skin(load bearing wall below)

Block wall spec is Aerated Block 3.6N 100mm(215x440mm) then 12.5mm plasterboard either side. Stud wall spec is 100mm Timber framework packed out with Knauf earthwool insulation then 12.5mm plasterboard either side

Yes agreed gutting is the easy bit, its the costs to build im looking for.

Looking to dig up the current floors of the ground floor - 80m2- and then wanted to lay a new sub floor/insulation/damp membrane then 60mm screed. Does anyone know what the average cost(labour and materials) per m2 for a builder to this is?
