Tightened around the olive. Everything seemed fine shower worked fine no sign of any leak but must be water running down the wall slowly. Everything is fitted as stated so I'msure I am nearly there! Have a plumber coming to have a look. Ill try tightening up more on the olive if that could be...

Or so it seemed!...no obvious sign of a leak and shower working great so popped out for a few hours this afternoon...returned home to water pouring through the ceiling! Seems to be running back down the pipe behind the wall.

I have everything in place but it is only hand tight. Just need to tighten it all up tomorrow so fingers crossed. I had to lend some tools which I will not get back until the morning.

Okay great. The guy in the video was using copper pipe so just to be sure I put the insert in and the fit the olive over the insert or i put the olive on the pipe and then fit the insert? Where about on the insert should the olive sit? where it is at its widest at the very end of the pipe or...

Im not sure what I do with the olive now. Does it go on the pipe? and then I put on the piece we have just unscrewed?
