    Ecotec plus 832 with SensoHome/SensoNet

@ScottishGasMan will have a more valid opinion than me, but I think that sensohome is great but you don't fully utilise it without an external sensor. there are definitely some savings to be made with weather compensation but the first few days will be a trial as you'll try to set up the heat...

    Ecotec plus 832 with SensoHome/SensoNet

Thanks, this worked this morning. Glow-worm connected and managed to activate Heat curve menus etc. Now I get a F.521 error, Outdoor temperature sensor signal invalid. (although I can read the outdoor temp in sensoApp and in Sensohome display). IS this because it is a Glow worm sensor? Signal...

    Ecotec plus 832 with SensoHome/SensoNet

Thanks, as you mention the sensonet connected automatically and with no issues after a couple of hours flashing and changing colours. It works fine now. Outdoor sensor has a button and a led which is flashing once I press on it, but Sensohome has absolutely no button to press so that I’ll link...

    Vaillant SensoHome/SensoNet

Can I ask how we connect the outdoor sensor to the sensohome? Can’t find any option anywhere but Vaillant site is making it very clear that Sensohome is capable of weather compensation with an outdoor sensor. I have the same boiler Vaillant 832. Thanks

So just thinking to go with the below: - SensoHome VRT380F - SensoNet for connectivity - The glowworm outdoor sensor that it much cheaper than the VR20 but it is compatible. Am I missing anything?

    Ecotec plus 832 with SensoHome/SensoNet

    Ecotec plus 832 with SensoHome/SensoNet

Hello all, I have a Vaillant Ecotec Plus 832 connected to a Nest thermostat. I am really bored of manually adjusting the flow temperature as the Nest is not able to do this with Valiant boilers (at least not in the UK due to lack of VR33 module). Do you know if 832 is compatible with...

    Vaillant boiler - Flow temp?

I am really happy with the Nest thermostat as we don't follow a specific schedule, so auto-away and remote switch on are really really useful and energy saving I think. Would I like to add more optimization (e.g. auto flow temp control etc)? Definitely yes, but if the system is restricting me...

    Vaillant boiler - Flow temp?

Thanks both, I didn't choose the nest thermostat, it was in the offers I received from several installers, it was seeming to have certain benefits (it has indeed) but at the time I didn't know the difference between a real Weather compnsator and the nest. It is a 3rd generation nest. Do we know...

    Vaillant boiler - Flow temp?

Any ideas? Temporarily I reduced CHW temp to 63C so that return flow is 55C-56C. It may take longer -very slightly- to heat but I believe that it is more efficient.
