Thanks - not downlights though, just four GU10s attached to a square base which then mounts to the silver bracket.
Yeah, they're throughout the house and every single one is empty, with the current cables just shoved through a hole down the side. It's a right pain for the lights with a ceiling...
I'm looking to replace a downstairs light fitting (GU10 spots rather than a pendant). It's been in place for 15 years since we moved into the house, and I've never taken it down before. I've discovered that in the absence of a proper junction box, everything seems to be held together by separate...
I've just popped into the loft to get something out, and found little black dots covering pretty much the entire space. They're not evenly distributed, and are relatively new (last couple of months - we had a hot water cylinder installed at that time, and they 100% weren't there then). They're...
Unfortunately what I didn't show in the picture is a catch in the middle of the front edge of the glass, to hold it down whilst travelling. This means that the glass must come down to contact the front edge - any grommet or bump stop which stood proud would prevent the lid going down far enough...
Alas, not that simple! I'm trying to slow down the last 20% of downward travel on a glass worktop in a campervan. The gas strut slows it to begin with, then drops it at the end. I was hoping to put a damper on the RHS of this picture, tucked in the corner. The gap from the edge of the sink to...
Hi all. Does anyone know where (if) I can get hold of a soft close damper (not full hinge) which is 25mm or shorter? I need to fit one in a tiny gap, and the smallest I can find is a 35mm cylinder with a 47mm mounting adapter. Thanks!
