Well, the pump was stopping before the anti cycle time elapsed. So my thought was that the heating water still needed to circulate rather than the pump keep stop starting as well ?.

Hi Johntheo5, Just called Valliant technical support and they tell me my boiler a 424 ecoTEC plus, modulates between 24Kw and 12Kw. Ie 12Kw is the lowest. That cant be correct can it ?????

Morning Madrab, thats my thinking as well. I have tried taking a couple of TRVs off and using the Drayton " manual" cap so effectively two more rads stay open with a trickle demand. Made some difference but not enough to stop the boiler from shutting down / anti cycle ?.

Thanks Madrab, Boiler goes to set temp of 62 and then pass to 67 and into anti cycle. Room stat has rads with lockshields, no TRVs. Anti cycle set at 25 mins but Vaillant graph shows in real time this equates to 6 mins ??

Thanks Madrab, poor mains incoming water pressure unfortunately. New hot water , vented, cylinder installed last year with heating system upgrade. It seems just the cold is running out when in higher demand. I think doubling up as cross thread said is my best option.
