    neutral reading

    yeah as said above id be more worried if i had a single neutral in a switch......by the looks of things the previous electrician/handy man who installed the switch didnt have any red/brown tape, and 44 volts could be coming back offa flurescent light fitting.

    just use a ceiling pull switch, anyway there is no zone 3 in the 17th edition, providing that its more than 3m horizontally away from a bath or shower u could in theory plug a fridge in....
