OK. Thanks. Manual says power panel down before connecting flasher then power it back on. I guess they are just being cautious. Worked OK just plugging in while powered on. SmartCom now connected. Now just to to get Connect (& Wintex) going. Thanks for the help.

Hi, Just when I thought I knew what I was doing to add SmartCom to my Premier Elite 24... I need to power off my Premier Elite 24 (to upgrade to latest F/w so I can add the SmartCom. However, when I cut the AC and disconnect the battery (as per the instructions) the external sounder goes off...
