I have just replaced and fitted a new Silavent extractor fan, after the last one died after the builder failed to duct it properly so all teh water flowed back to the unit. Anyway the problem i am incurring is that the new fan won't urn off! any idea what i have done wrong?

Thanks Mick. I don't think the flow was measured, the hot water pressure is much better than the cold! not sure that helps.

The hob does have a timer function to shut down individual hobs after a timed interval. (not sure if this is what you meant. The hob is about three years old and functions perfectly. I was more concerned about safety than anything else. thanks again for your responses.

Thanks Matthew - The hum does go away when its unplugged.

I have a gas hob which make a low level hum. Does anyone know if this is ok? Its a Siemens, the noise appears to be constant. I'm not sure if it has always been there or if it started at any time since the original installation. Thanks in advance for any direction. Cheers

Can anyone help me please. I had a Santon Premier plus fitted a while ago to over come the issue of pressure whilst running more than one shower. it has however failed to resolve the issue as when either another tap or shower is on the pressure drops. Is there something that needs to be done to...
